Just a few of my favourite things.

 

A spring day, the sun breaking through my curtains of silk. The trees outside my window. Their leaves dancing merrily. The sun peeking through branches waving softly in the breeze, dappling the lush, emerald grass below. 

 

A blank canvas awaits the confident stroke of my brush. A plot line swirls in my head, eager for release into Story.

 

Art and story. Art is story.

 

The Story of My Life

 

Passionate for art from early childhood, it became my comfort and companion when I developed Tourette Syndrome in adolescence. As an adult it is life to me. A gift and anointing of purpose from the hand of my Creator God. My Jesus, who breathes life into every stroke of my brush through the Holy Spirit.

 

Besides the Bible, I draw my best inspiration from nature, animals of all kinds–especially wolves, and literature. My favourite book series is the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis.

 

I love lions, too.

 

I illustrated my first book, published in 2023, The Gold Nugget Chronicles: The Treehouse Treaty–with more in that series to come–collaborating with author Kathryn Ross.

 

My current and soon to be published project is an epic graphic novel, Book 1 of the Howls of Legends series, due to release in 2025. The adventure stories inspire readers in the courage it takes to stand for the Light.
